HEMS – Heavy Equipment Maintenance Solutions Technoottools is the official importer and dealer of HEMS in the Netherlands

Official importer and dealer of HEMS

Machines for heavy maintenance. Tested in our own workshop.

HEMS has been building pin pushers, track presses and cylinder presses for construction, agriculture, mining and shipping for twenty years. We first bought them for our own use. The quality convinced us so much that we now supply them in the Netherlands ourselves, with advice from daily practice.

The brand

Unknown in the Netherlands. Proven in 108 countries.

HEMS comes from England and has been building machines for the maintenance of heavy equipment for twenty years. Pin pushers, track presses, cylinder repair benches, workshop presses, engine stands and oil filtration units. You find them in the workshops of contractors, dealers, mining companies, shipping companies and defence in more than a hundred countries.

In the Netherlands hardly anyone knows the brand. That is not because of the machines, but because there was no dealer.

Why HEMS

  • Built for daily use. Heavy frames, solid hydraulics and parts you can still replace ten years from now.

  • Trusted by the big brands. Dealers and workshops of Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, Liebherr, Hitachi, JCB and others work with HEMS tooling.

  • One brand for all maintenance. From pressing out pins to overhauling cylinders and filtration. The machines are matched to each other, so your workshop grows without a mix of brands.

  • Factory and dealer work together. Parts, drawings and technical questions go through HEMS, with Technoottools as the fixed link in the Netherlands.

About Technoottools

We started as a customer. Now we supply HEMS ourselves.

Technoottools did not start with a business plan, but with a problem. We needed a machine for our own work that could not be found anywhere in the Netherlands. At HEMS in England we did find it.

What stood out: the machine did exactly what it had to do, and the people at HEMS knew what they were talking about. After working with the machines for a while the next step was obvious. If this is that good, why can nobody in the Netherlands simply buy it?

Technoottools grew out of Technoot, our company for design, manufacturing and assembly. The same people, the same workshop, the same way of working. Now also with a range of workshop equipment.

“We started selling these machines because we no longer want to work without them. We want other workshops to have that experience too.”

Frequently asked questions

Questions about HEMS and Technoottools.

What is a pin pusher?

A pin pusher is a hydraulic press that pushes pins and bushes out of undercarriages, boom joints and cylinder eyes and presses them back in. HEMS builds master pin pushers from 30 to 300 tonnes that are used on the machine or in the workshop, so you can repair an undercarriage or arm on the spot.

What is the difference between a pin pusher and a track press?

A pin pusher works on individual pins and bushes, also on the machine itself. A track press is a stationary press for taking complete track chains apart and reassembling them: pressing out pins, replacing bushes and bringing the chain back to tension.

Where can I buy HEMS machines in the Netherlands?

At Technoottools in Bergambacht. We are the official importer and dealer of HEMS for the Netherlands. You buy from us with Dutch delivery, invoicing in euros, warranty and service. Request a quote or demo via the form at the bottom of this page.

How much does a HEMS machine cost?

The price depends on the type and capacity. A portable cylinder repair kit starts lower than a stationary track press or master pin pusher. We supply on request: you receive a tailored quote as soon as possible, including lead time and installation.

What about warranty and service?

HEMS provides a factory warranty and Technoottools handles it in the Netherlands. Installation, periodic maintenance and inspections are done by our own service team, at your location or in our workshop in Bergambacht. Parts and technical questions go through us to HEMS.

Which sectors are HEMS machines made for?

For workshops that maintain heavy equipment: earthmoving and construction, agriculture, mining, oil and gas, shipping and defence. According to the manufacturer, HEMS machines are used in workshops in 108 countries and the brand has existed for twenty years.
